I Love Makeup Naked Chocolate Palette!

When it comes to eyeshadows, I'm definitely a naturals girl! Bright bold colour on my eyes scares me slightly! I love the MUA Undress Me Too Palette, it's so affordable and the shadows have great pay off and there are some beautiful shades! I was searching for another neutral palette, and saw swatches from the Makeup Revolution I Love Makeup Naked Chocolate Palette. My first  reaction - I need this palette! Ordered it straight away and awaited for it to turn up on my doorstep. The text message saying the palette had been delivered made the rest of my working day drag considerably! Got home, ripped open the packaging, and wanted to dive right in to using it. I resisted and took photos first - proud moment! The packaging feels really sturdy and I was surprised to find a huge, full palette sized mirror in the lid. So far, amazing. Now on to using it.

Friday night smokey eye, and big hair!

First use, Friday night smokey eye, fell in love even more! The shadows are pigmented and apply so evenly! I used Smoothly as a base colour, followed by Tob-le-rone in the crease. Its a lovely browny-taupe colour that creates the perfect shadow. Next Sweet Shop which is a chocolate brown, and Choc-fest which is a red-y brown - gives a nice level of warmth to the look. On the lower lash line I used Choc-fest again, and blended it in to the liner with White (interesting colour name for the shade!). I applied all of the shadows with the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush. My liner of choice was the Max Factor Excess Intensity Longwear Eyeliner in Charcoal. It has great staying power on the waterline with minimum smudging or disappearing down underneath the eye.
I have a feeling this palette is going to get used a lot, so await the next post on it!
