Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - First Thoughts

Origins, nice to finally meet you! My first purchase definitely turned out to be a worthy one! I’ve heard numerous beauty bloggers rave about this mask - and with good reason it seems! You know when you wish you could pour pints of water on to your face and it soak it up with ease? I’ve had too many of those moments lately, but this product literally feels like you’ve done exactly that!
Tried it out for the first time, woke up to find almost a new face on my shoulders! Everything looked more loved, supple and healthy! Most of my dry patches had disappeared, almost like that didn’t exist in the first place - brilliant!
It smells slightly floral, with a hint of orange - quite calming and refreshing at the same time. I've not had a mask that you leave on over night before, but the results are impressive!

I’m happy I finally made the step into the world of Origins! What are you’re favourite Origins products? Give a girl a heads up!

Monu Facial Oil - First Thoughts

The best thing about sorting out your stash, is that you discover things you didn't even realise you had! My skin has been very problematic lately (dry patches, red patches, basically very patchy!) and I was desperate to find different things to help at all times of the day to combat it!
I found this little beauty in my stash from Monu. It's their Soothing Hawaii Facial Treatment Oil. On the back of the product it states 'All you need to soothe and hydrate irritated or sensitive skin' - DEAL!
I applied it in the evening after taking off my makeup so it could do its work when I was sleeping soundly! It smells faintly of lavender which is quite relaxing and perfect for bedtime! I took a small amount and warmed it up in my hands and applied in circular upwards motions. I prefer to do it in small quantities because you can always add to it, rather than having an overly oily face from the get go!
I woke up after the first use and was pleasantly surprised! I wasn't too sure how quick or how dramatic the result would be from using it just once. However my skin was definitely more hydrated and less irritated and angry!

I've got a small sample size of 30ml, the full size is 100ml and £26. I feel when I've used it up I will have to purchase the larger version!

Have you tried anything from Monu? Let me know!

Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm - First Thoughts

Spring is now upon us, so pastels, pinks, brights - come at me!
The latest addition to my spring make up is this Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm in Refined Rose (£8.99).
On first use, it's a beautiful feeling balm, not sticky or heavy - perfect for everyday use. It applies a nice amount of colour, and is buildable - ideal for a sheer colour during the day and a few more layers for an afternoon/evening look.
I'm not a huge fan of the smell, and I've read reviews it can be drying on the lips, I'll have to let you know if I experience the same thing. I'm hoping a lip balm wouldn't be drying...right?!
It reminds me a little bit of the Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm (£5.99), so if you wanted a cheaper alternative give this one a try.

Naobay Moisturizing Peeling - First Thoughts

So it turned out that the March Glossybox contained one absolute beauty! I tried this for the first time last night, as part of my evening skincare - love at first use! It's a natural & organic facial milk with small particles/beads in it to give that exfoliating effect. I applied it all over my face and neck, lightly massaged it in, and removed with a muslin cloth soaked in warm water. Once removed, my skin felt so soft and smooth. Even today, my skin feels so much better, more hydrated, and moisturised! I also love the packaging of this product, simple but beautiful!
I have a feeling this will take up a well deserved place in my skincare routine, and the price tag isn't too bad either! It comes in at £13.71 for 100ml.

Have you tried this product, or any others from Naobay?

Nuxe Rêve De Miel - First Thoughts

I'm so late to the party on this one, but I finally purchased the Nuxe Rêve De Miel lip balm! I popped into my local Space NK, had a peruse round and spotted this little beaut and thought, today's the day to buy it!
The 'Honey Dream' lip balm is celebrating it's 20 year anniversary so they have released limited edition packaging. The smell is dreamy - sweet honey with a hint of citrus. It's quite a thick lip balm, I imagine it would be nice to apply at night almost like a mask. On first application, my lips feel much smoother and protected! Excited to have this in my life!

Super Facialist - First Thoughts

I've mentioned the Super Facialist by Una Brennan range before with the Vitamin C+ Brighten Dark Circles Eye Cream. On my latest trip to Boots I picked up the Tea Flower Deep Clean Purifying Cleansing Wash. It's a clear liquid that foams up when massaged into the face. One thing I look for when trying out new skincare is the scent. I hate skincare that's heavily scented. This cleansing wash smells super clean and fresh, thumbs up! From first use, my skin felt healthier, clearer, and so much softer! I love products that you can see and feel results straight away, it makes me want to carry on using them! I will report back when I've used this for longer, and see if my opinion changes. But so far so good!
