Saturday's look - bronzed lids, smudgy liner! It was an early start this morning to get the train to London, so excuse my it's early and im still quite sleepy look! When I don't have much time I go for a wash of colour over the lids. My favourite product for this is the Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eyeshadow in Bronze. Today I layered Frosted Choc from the Makeup Revolution I Love Makeup Naked Chocolate palette. When it comes to black eyeshadow, I'm quite picky. It's got to be super pigmented and black, jet black! Recently I've been using the Emite Makeup Micronized Eye Shadow in Dams. It's highly pigmented and is easy to work with. Micronized shadows are oil and fragrance free, so perfect if you have sensitive skin! I applied Dams with the Real Techniques Accent Brush. It's the perfect size for getting right into the lashes, top and bottom, for the ideal smudged look.
On a recent trip to New Look I bought this beautiful top, which is a little different to something I'd normally pick up but I love it! It's part of the Blue Vanilla range. The pattern is a black and white zigzag with a longer section at the bottom, almost like you were wearing a shirt underneath.
What are your favourite brushes that get the job done no matter what?!
